    Meet Sharon Moist

Sharon Moist is CEO of Successfulosophy, LLC, an international coaching and consulting company at the forefront of entrepreneurial and entertainment industry trends.

With more than 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Sharon has been an actor, producer, development girl, and spent five years at one of the major Hollywood Studios before accepting a job with one of the top boutique talent agencies in Los Angeles (known for discovering Halle Berry, T.R. Knight, Josh Lucas, Adam Sandler and many other well-known names and faces in Hollywood).

After 5 years as the head of television Sharon left the agency and launched The Industry Coach®.

Known for her innovative ideas and outside-the-box thinking, today Sharon coaches an elite group of private entertainment industry clients who are completely committed to moving forward in their careers and using their talents to make a difference in the world around them.

    Sharon’s Background Includes:

    • Generating two (2) product ideas, for one of Hollywood’s biggest entertainment studios, which have resulted in sales revenues of more than $460 million dollars in 7 years.

    • Accepting a position as an assistant at one of the top boutique talent agencies in Los Angeles and being appointed as the Head of Television one month later. (The average length of time for this kind of promotion is 7 to 9 years).

    • Producing one of the top-rated radio talk shows in Los Angeles, going from having no rating for two years, to the #2-rated show in the Arbitron Ratings Book, in a period of 8 months.

    • Recommending that the talent agency represent a young, relatively unknown, actor in 2001, knowing that he was going to be a star. In 2002, that actor was named as one of People magazines “50 Most Beautiful People,” and has been nominated for 10 acting awards, including 5 wins.

    • Suggesting the agency cast an unknown television actor in the lead role of a movie written by one of its literary clients, knowing that this young actor had huge star potential. In 2006 this actor was handpicked by director Steven Spielberg to star in the movie Transformers.

    • Being invited by American Airlines, on four (4) separate occasions, to participate in their “Conversations with Experts” talk radio series (previous guests have included: real estate mogul Donald Trump, former president Jimmy Carter, and Jack Canfield, author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series, among others).

    Additionally:

Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications, trained as an actor at the world-renowned American Academy of Dramatic Arts and completed the UCLA School of Film and Television’s Professional Program in Producing.

A member of the International Coach Federation, Coachville, Women in Film, and American Women in Radio and Television, Sharon received her formal coach training from Coach University, is a Certified Print® Coach, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.

On a personal note, Sharon is a published writer and award-winning poet; published her first book, “101 Tips for Actors: Secrets for Success Every Actor Must Know," in 2007, and co-authored the book, "Discover Your Inner Strength," with Ken Blanchard, Stephen Covey and Brian Tracy in 2009. She loves to travel, enjoys kickboxing and Pilates, and is an avid swimmer and horseback rider.

An accomplished musician and classically-trained singer, Sharon also has a strong passion for music and has sung with both the Apollo Chorus in Chicago, IL, and the Berkshires Choral Festival in Sheffield, MA.

When she’s not traveling on business or teaching her own workshops, Sharon divides her time between Montana, California and Florida.
